Cancellation Policy

This Policy explains how to cancel or change a Yankee Luxury Co. request or confirmed reservation, the default timing rules that may apply, and how provider commitments, no-shows, weather, and services already arranged affect cancellation charges.

Effective July 14, 2026 Last Updated July 14, 2026

This Cancellation Policy applies to Yankee Luxury Co. (“Yankee Luxury,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) website requests and confirmed services. It should be read with the Terms and Conditions, Refund Policy, written quote, booking confirmation, and any provider-specific agreement.

1. The Most Important Rule

Your written booking confirmation controls. The cancellation schedule in a final quote, payment page, signed agreement, property terms, charter agreement, rental agreement, or written confirmation takes priority over the default schedule below. Some services are nonrefundable immediately after confirmation because a specific vehicle, aircraft, vessel, property, provider, staff member, or vendor commitment has been secured.

If your confirmation does not include a service-specific cancellation schedule, the applicable default schedule in this Policy will apply.

Submitting an availability request is not a confirmed reservation. No cancellation fee applies to an unconfirmed request unless you separately authorized paid planning, sourcing, inspection, procurement, or another service already performed.

2. How to Cancel

Send a cancellation request using at least one of the following methods:

  • Email [email protected] with the subject line “Cancellation Request.”
  • Call 845-479-6709 and follow the call with written confirmation by email.
  • Reply directly to the booking confirmation or reservation email.

Include the booking name, service date, service type, confirmation or invoice reference, telephone number, and the service being cancelled.

Step 01 Send Notice

Use email or reply to the confirmation so the request is documented.

Step 02 Receive Acknowledgment

Our team reviews the booking and applicable provider terms.

Step 03 Receive Outcome

You receive written confirmation of charges, credit, or eligible refund.

3. When a Cancellation Becomes Effective

A cancellation is effective when Yankee Luxury Co. receives the written request through an approved contact channel. Leaving a voicemail, contacting a driver or unrelated vendor, disputing a payment, failing to arrive, or assuming a booking was cancelled does not by itself complete cancellation.

Cancellation deadlines are calculated in Eastern Time unless the written confirmation states otherwise. A “day” means a calendar day. A cancellation made outside normal communication hours is recorded when the message is received electronically, but urgent same-day requests should also be followed by telephone.

4. Chauffeur, Airport Transfer, and Point-to-Point Service

Unless your confirmation states different terms, the following default schedule applies to standard sedan, SUV, black-car, chauffeur, and airport-transfer reservations that do not involve a specialty vehicle, large group, event fleet, or paid third-party commitment.

Cancellation TimingDefault TreatmentStatus
More than 48 hours before scheduled pickupEligible amounts may be refunded, less nonrefundable third-party commitments and approved processing or administrative charges disclosed at booking. Most Flexible
24 to 48 hours before scheduled pickupUp to 50% of the confirmed transportation charge may be retained, plus nonrefundable third-party costs.Partial Charge
Less than 24 hours before pickupUp to 100% of the confirmed charge may be retained.Late Cancellation
No-show or cancellation after dispatchThe full confirmed charge and any incurred waiting, toll, parking, repositioning, or related cost may apply.Full Charge

Hourly, as-directed, specialty chauffeur, long-distance, event, holiday, high-demand, and multi-day reservations may carry stricter terms disclosed before confirmation.

5. Self-Drive, Exotic, and Specialty Vehicle Rentals

Vehicle reservations often require the provider to remove a specific vehicle from availability, arrange delivery, conduct inspections, or reject other bookings. Unless the rental agreement states different terms, the following default schedule applies:

Cancellation TimingDefault TreatmentStatus
More than 7 days before rental startEligible amounts may be refunded less nonrefundable sourcing, delivery, provider, inspection, or processing costs disclosed at confirmation. Most Flexible
3 to 7 days before rental startUp to 50% of the rental charge may be retained, plus committed third-party costs.Partial Charge
Less than 72 hours before rental startUp to 100% of the confirmed rental charge may be retained.Late Cancellation
Failure to complete identity, license, insurance, deposit, or eligibility requirements by the deadlineMay be treated as a customer cancellation under the applicable rental agreement.Requirements Not Met

A security deposit or authorization hold is handled separately from the cancellation charge and will be released or applied according to the rental agreement and payment-provider timelines.

6. Corporate, Conference, Event, and Group Transportation

Corporate and group reservations may involve multiple vehicles, dispatch planning, staffing, permits, staging, signage, buses, coaches, and rejected alternative work. The written proposal or transportation agreement controls.

If no custom schedule was provided, the following default applies:

Cancellation TimingDefault Treatment
More than 14 days before serviceEligible amounts may be refunded less planning work and nonrefundable provider commitments.
7 to 14 days before serviceUp to 50% of the confirmed service total may be retained, plus committed costs.
Less than 7 days before serviceUp to 100% of the confirmed service total may be retained.

Reducing vehicle count, service hours, routes, or passenger volume after confirmation may be treated as a partial cancellation.

7. Shortlets and Private Stays

Property cancellation rules vary by host, property, season, length of stay, event date, and reservation type. The property-specific terms shown before payment control.

Unless otherwise stated in writing, payments used to reserve a specific property may become nonrefundable after the property is confirmed. Cleaning, concierge, grocery, chef, décor, staffing, security, or other services may have separate cancellation terms.

If a stay is shortened after check-in or the guest leaves early, unused nights are not automatically refundable.

8. Private Jet and Aviation Requests

The aircraft operator or charter agreement controls all aviation cancellations. Aircraft availability may be secured through nonrefundable deposits or full payment.

Once an aircraft has been confirmed, operator cancellation charges may include all or a substantial portion of the charter price, repositioning, crew, airport, handling, de-icing, catering, permit, and administrative costs.

Passenger-requested changes to route, date, airport, schedule, passenger list, baggage, pet arrangements, or aircraft class may be treated as a cancellation and rebooking.

Operational changes made by an aircraft operator for safety, weather, maintenance, crew, airport, or regulatory reasons are handled under the applicable charter agreement.

9. Yacht and Vessel Reservations

The vessel owner or operator agreement controls yacht cancellations. Deposits may be nonrefundable once a vessel, captain, crew, marina time, catering, décor, entertainment, or related service is committed.

Customer cancellations close to the departure date may result in retention of the full charter price. A change in guest count, route, duration, boarding location, or event scope may require repricing.

Weather and captain-directed cancellations are addressed in Section 12 and the vessel agreement.

10. Concierge, VIP, Dining, Events, and Custom Purchases

Concierge planning fees, sourcing fees, rush fees, and work already performed are generally nonrefundable once the work begins.

Tickets, reservations, venue deposits, dining minimums, gifts, flowers, décor, catering, chefs, entertainment, staffing, security, photography, and custom purchases are subject to the vendor’s terms and may be nonrefundable immediately after purchase or commitment.

If a complete VIP itinerary includes several services, each component may have a different cancellation deadline and charge.

11. No-Shows, Late Arrival, and Failure to Provide Information

A no-show may be charged at 100% of the confirmed amount, plus authorized waiting or incurred costs.

Unless the written confirmation states otherwise:

  • For standard point-to-point pickup, waiting charges may begin 15 minutes after the scheduled pickup time, and the booking may be treated as a no-show after 30 minutes when the passenger cannot be reached.
  • For a commercial airport arrival, the included grace period may be up to 60 minutes for a domestic arrival and up to 90 minutes for an international arrival, measured from the recorded arrival time, subject to the confirmation and airport conditions.
  • For private terminals, events, marinas, rental pickup, properties, and other services, the grace period stated in the confirmation controls.

Incorrect contact details, flight information, pickup location, passenger count, identity documents, insurance, or other required information may result in delay, cancellation, or no-show treatment.

12. Weather, Safety, and Events Beyond Control

Safety decisions by drivers, captains, aircraft operators, property managers, authorities, or other responsible providers take priority.

Weather, road closures, airport restrictions, air-traffic control, mechanical issues, government action, natural disaster, civil emergency, public-health event, labor disruption, or another event beyond reasonable control may result in delay, substitution, rerouting, rescheduling, or cancellation.

A customer is not automatically entitled to a cash refund when the provider offers a lawful, reasonably comparable substitution, rescheduling option, or credit under the applicable agreement. When the provider cancels and cannot perform or offer an acceptable remedy, Section 13 applies.

13. Cancellation by Yankee Luxury Co. or a Provider

We or an applicable provider may cancel or refuse service because of safety, illegality, fraud risk, nonpayment, failed eligibility, unavailable inventory, mechanical condition, weather, provider emergency, abusive conduct, false information, or a material breach of the agreement.

If a confirmed service is cancelled for reasons not caused by you and no comparable substitute, rescheduling option, or accepted credit is provided, you will be eligible for a refund of the amount paid for the unperformed affected service, subject to the written agreement and applicable law.

Separate services that remain available are not automatically cancelled or refundable merely because another part of an itinerary changes.

14. Changes and Rescheduling

Changes are not guaranteed and are effective only when confirmed in writing. A change may cause revised pricing, minimums, deposits, provider assignment, availability, or cancellation treatment.

A request to change the date, route, property, aircraft, vessel, vehicle, duration, or service type may be treated as a cancellation of the original booking and a new request.

When we approve rescheduling, previously paid amounts may be transferred only as stated in the written approval. New dates remain subject to availability and price differences.

15. Service Credits

A service credit may be offered instead of a cash refund when permitted by the applicable agreement and accepted by the customer.

Unless the written credit states otherwise, credits:

  • Are valid only for the named customer or company.
  • May be limited to the same service category or provider.
  • Must be used by the stated expiration date.
  • Have no cash value and cannot be resold.
  • Remain subject to availability and price differences.

16. Refund Review and Processing

After cancellation, we will review the confirmation, timing, work performed, provider commitments, payment history, and applicable agreement.

Eligible refunds are issued according to the Refund Policy. Processing time may depend on the payment method, bank, payment processor, provider reconciliation, dispute status, and documentation required.

Submitting a payment dispute before allowing the cancellation review to be completed may delay reconciliation and does not expand refund rights.

17. Statutory and Non-Waivable Rights

Some transactions may be subject to a specific statutory cancellation right based on how, where, or what was sold. Nothing in this Policy removes a cancellation, refund, remedy, warranty, or consumer right that cannot lawfully be waived.

This Policy does not create a general three-day cancellation period for every online, telephone, travel, rental, transportation, or concierge booking.

When applicable law provides greater protection than this Policy, the law controls.
